ADCES is a community that reaches out to folks effected by diabetes in some way: patients, family members, educators, healthcare workers, devise manufacturer. Self-care is important in all areas. HT is a natural fit for people who are stressed and/or in pain.

We gave 47 mini-HT sessions. Mobile sign up made it easy for conference attendees to sign up and not miss their session.

The conference organizers were very easy to work with. The HT experience last year was favorable, so they wanted to expand the offering to more people throughout the single day conference. I hope that we may participate at the 2025 conference.

School Nurses from the State of Maine gathered for an educational conference. Information about Healing Touch Program and Healing Touch Worldwide Foundation was provided, as well as mini HT sessions were offered to participants and other vendors. Participants were able to visit with vendors during their break times (approximately 3 times for 15 minutes throughout the day.)

Leanne Bishop, HTCP/I and Amy Clement, HTP-A spoke to approximately 45 individuals as they were visiting vendors during their short break periods.

Leanne and Amy gave approximately 15 mini HT sessions to school nurses and other vendors.

It was a wonderful experience, being able to share our passion and love of Healing Touch and to demonstrate the impact even short mini sessions can have. We wished that we had more time to connect with the school nurses, instead of just during their break sessions which were very short.
